The Porter Cable 7800 is a drywall sander
that sands drywall faster and cleaner than conventional methods.
The patented foam-backed adhesive sanding pads of this Porter
Cable virtually eliminates swirl marks thanks to its powerful
3.5 amp motor which turns the sanding pad between 1,000 and
1,650 rpm.
The 7800 drywall sander from Porter Cable has a built in dust
collection hose, a sander, sanding pad, vacuum hose, hook
and loop strap for mounting power cord to vacuum hose and
an operating manual. You cannot go wrong with porter cables
7800 - your end result is a large, smooth, uniform surface.
The 1-1/4-inch vacuum hose is 13 feet long - long enough to
sand high ceilings from the ground. This drywall sander is
lightweight (8 pounds), and is able to suck up the vast majority
of the fine, potentially harmful dust with an attachable vacuum.
