Dewalt laser level: DEWALT's new DW077 heavy-duty
18-volt self-leveling cordless rotary laser is accurate to
1/8" per 100 feet and runs off DEWALT's standard battery
system.
The fully automatic Dewalt DW077 laser is designed for interior
contractors, concrete workers, deck builders, masons, remodelers,
glaziers and general contractors who want a self-leve3ling
rotary laser that's accurate, easy to use, durable, and has
a bright beam.
For accuracy, an out-of-level shut-off mechanism automatically
stops the Dewalt rotary laser if the unit is bumped out of
plumb or level.
An intuitive control panel makes the rotary laser easy to
use on the jobsite. One-button laser leveling and a wireless
remote control allow for single-person setup. For versatility,
the DW077 runs off DEWALT's 9.6 volt to 18-volt battery packs.
A high-power laser diode produces an exceptionally bright
and sharp beam. The beam is visible indoors up to 100 ft.
from the laser (200 ft. diameter) and can be detected up to
1,000 ft. (2,000 ft. diameter) from the level with a digital
detector.
For durability, an aluminum cage protects the rotary laser
head from impact and falling objects while still allowing
full access to the rotary head. The leveling mechanism is
shock-isolated for protection, while the weather-proof design
further ensures resilience against the elements.
Accompanying the new rotary laser, DEWALT's DW0772 digital
laser detector is shock resistant to withstand a one-story
drop, and totally waterproof so it can be hosed off should
it fall into wet concrete.
For accuracy, DEWALT's detector finds the center plane from
any red or invisible (infrared) beam rotary laser at distances
of over 1,000 ft. The detector has two accuracy modes: one
finds the center within 1/8" (3mm) and the other within
1/25" (1mm).
Volume on the detector can be set for mute, low, or loud
at 110dB. A digital display appears on both the front and
back of the detector for user convenience.
The DW0772 comes with DEWALT's interior/exterior cordless
rotary laser kit, or can be purchased separately for about
$250.
