DEWALT has added the DW071KD to its line of heavy-duty cordless
rotary laser levels for indoor and outdoor
leveling applications.
The manually leveled Dewalt DW071KD is accurate to +/- ¼"
at 100 feet and has a protected rotary head and side impact
roll cage for worksite durability.
With patented dual side-by-side laser diodes and variable
speed rotation, the DW071KD laser level produces an extremely
bright beam visible to 200 feet. The digital laser detector
included in the kit extends the interior and exterior range
to 600 feet.
The DW071KD rotary level is ideal for jobs such as leveling
concrete, hanging drop ceilings, building walls and decks,
and other indoor and outdoor work that requires plumb or level
referencing. A built-in bump sensor alerts the user if the
rotary laser is accidentally bumped after it has been leveled,
helping to ensure accurate and consistent beam position.
The compact DW071KD laser level from Dewalt runs off three
D-size alkaline batteries and is smaller than the company’s
DW073K rotary laser, which uses DEWALT’s 9.6V to 18V
cordless battery packs.
The DW071KD level includes batteries, rack-and-pinion wall
mount, digital laser detector and clamp, laser target card,
laser enhancement glasses, and heavy-duty kit box. A construction
tripod, DW0736 and 13-foot construction grade rod, DW0734
are also available separately. The Dewalt DW071KD is expected
to sell for about $435.
