Dewalt nailers: DEWALT has launched a line of new heavy-duty
finish and brad nailers built the way professionals want them
– durable and lightweight, with plenty of features and
power. The new Dewalt nail gun lineup includes a 15-gauge
angled finish nailer, a 16-gauge finish nailer, and a 2-inch
18-gauge brad nailer.
DEWALT’s D51275 heavy-duty 15-gauge angled finish nailer
is a lightweight and long lasting tool made to hold up to
the pro’s expectations. By using a tough magnesium housing,
the air nailer weighs less than 3.9 pounds, yet packs plenty
of punch to countersink nails into even the hardest building
material. For lighter applications, nail depth can be adjusted
quickly using an innovative vertical slide that has five indexed
positions. Air exhaust is channeled away from the user with
a tool-free 360° adjustable exhaust cap.
For maximum convenience, the DeWALT unit offers a patented
magazine design that allows the user to either lock the pusher
back and then load the nails ("lock and load"),
or load the nails and then lock the pusher ("load and
lock"). This feature makes it faster and easier to load
and unload fasteners.
The DeWALT 15-gauge angled finish nailer holds 110 nails
from 1 ¼" to 2 ½" long. If fasteners
occasionally jam in the nosepiece, the tool has a durable
tool-free front-latch jam clearing door that will hold up
over extensive use and abuse. In addition, the contact trip
and low profile
no-mar pad are designed with an open front that provides
better visibility for accurate nail placement. For user convenience,
the D51275 has a tool-free reversible belt hook for right-
and left-handed users, while a permanent rubber handgrip provides
comfort and control.
The Dewalt 15-gauge pneumatic nailer comes with a carrying
case, DEWALT safety glasses, two wrenches, and pneumatic oil.
DEWALT’s D51256 heavy-duty 16-gauge finish nailer weighs
just 3.9 pounds and holds up to one hundred sixty (160) 1
¼" to 2 ½" nails -- more than any
other nailer in its class. Plus, it is the only 16-gauge finish
nai gun to use a rear-loading magazine system with DEWALT’s
exclusive "lock-and-load" or "load-and-lock"
design for faster loading and unloading.
Nail depth on DEWALT’s 16-gauge nailer can be adjusted
quickly with an innovative vertical slide that has five indexed
positions. Air exhaust is channeled away from the user with
a tool-free 360° adjustable exhaust cap. For jam clearing,
DEWALT designed a tool-free front-latch mechanism that is
easy to use and stays tight over the life of the tool.
The contact trip and nose are designed to provide better
nail-placement visibility. A low profile no-mar pad grips
material when toe nailing, yet alleviates indentations from
the contact trip. The no-mar pad is designed to attach firmly
to the contact trip but is easy to remove when necessary.
For user convenience, the D51256 nail gun has a tool-free
reversible belt hook to accommodate right- and left-handed
users, while a permanent rubber handgrip provides comfort
and control.
The 16-gauge nailer comes with a carrying case, DEWALT safety
glasses, two wrenches, and pneumatic oil.
DEWALT’s new D51238 heavy-duty pneumatic brad nailer
is built to last with many innovative features that save time
and money on the worksite.
This 18-gauge tool holds 110 nails from 5/8" to 2"
long and has enough power for even the hardest woods. In softer
materials, nail depth can be adjusted quickly and locked in
with an innovative vertical slide that has four indexed positions.
To indicate nail capacity, DEWALT put low-nail indicators
on both the side and top of the magazine, whereas other brad
nailers only have one indicator on the side. With two indicators,
it’s easier for users to keep track of their nail supply
before accidentally dry-firing or climbing a ladder with an
empty magazine.
The D51238 nailer has a durable tool-free front-latch jam
clearing mechanism that will not wear out over the life of
the nailer. Air exhaust is channeled away from the user with
a tool-free 360° adjustable exhaust setting. Other useful
items include a tool-free reversible belt hook for right-
and left-handed users, a permanent rubber handgrip for comfort
and control, and an overmolded no-mar pad on the end of the
contact trip for better visibility when placing nails.
The 18-gauge nail gun comes with a carrying case, DeWALT
safety glasses, two wrenches, and pneumatic oil.
In addition to finish and brad nailers, DEWALT’s pneumatic
tool family includes heavy-duty framing nailers and a full
line of worksite air compressors.
