The new heavy-duty Dewalt rotary laser is
designed for accuracy, durability, versatility and visibility
for interior and exterior applications on both residential
and commercial worksites. The new cordless rotary laser is
ideal for ceiling and wall installers, concrete workers, masons,
remodelers, deck builders, and other professional users.
The new DW073 laser is a manually leveled rotary laser that
uses dual side-by-side laser diodes for an extremely bright
beam and is accurate to + ¼" at 100-foot radius
(+ 1/8" at 50 feet) with a visible diameter of 200 feet.
Long-range leveling to 600 feet is possible with the company’s
digital laser detector.
Laser set up is quick and easy with the tool’s built-in
3-in-1 mounting system that consists of a floor mount, adjustable
rack-and-pinion wall mount, and 5/8" x 11 threaded tripod
insert. A quick-release lever allows the Dewalt laser head
to pivot instantly for horizontal or vertical applications.
The variable speed setting controls the beam rotation from
0 to 600 rpm.
Once the unit is set up, a built-in bump sensor alerts the
user if the tool is accidentally bumped, ensuring accurate
and consistent beam position. For worksite durability, the
rotary laser has a die-cast metal protective cap and a rugged
side-impact roll cage.
Power for the Dewalt cordless laser comes from the DEWALT
battery system, with up to 14 hours of continuous runtime
from an 18V XR+ battery pack. For quick-change compatibility,
the rotary laser accepts DeWALT battery packs from 9.6V through
18V.
Great for interior jobs, the Dewalt DW073K includes an 18-volt
XR+™ Extended Run-Time battery, 1-hour charger with
Tune-Up™ Mode, laser target card, laser enhancement
glasses, and kit box. The DW073KD kit adds a digital laser
detector and detector clamp that allows for both indoor and
outdoor use. DEWALT’s laser target card, digital laser
detector and detector clamp, 13-foot construction grade rod,
and construction tripod are also available separately.
