DEWALT has introduced two compact SDS rotary hammers
with single-mode operation for "no-nonsense" concrete
drilling.
Designed for commercial contractors who use compact SDS rotary
hammers exclusively for concrete and masonry drilling, the
new DW562K and DW565K come only with rotary hammer mode and
do not include a chipping function or a drill-only mode like
other hammers. By eliminating these functions, DeWALT’s
specialized rotary hammers provide better value because they
are less expensive and more durable, as they have fewer moving
parts and therefore are less susceptible to dust entering
the gearbox.
The DW562K and Dewalt DW565K hammers are most commonly used
for 5/32" to 5/8" anchor hole drilling with the
capability for a 1" solid bit.
Both models come with a durable carrying case, depth rod
and 360° side handle. The DW562K rotary hammer has a pistol-style
grip and the DW565K has D-handle grip.
