DEWALT has introduced eight, heavy-duty, cordless 1-1/4"
- 2-1/2", 16 GA Dewalt cordless finish nailers into its
newly enhanced XRP™ line of extended-run-time, professional-grade
power tools. Designed to drive either straight or angled finish
nails in both soft and hard wood, the Dewalt finish nailers
include four 12/14.4V models (DC612, DC613, DC614 and DC615)
and four 18V models (DC616, DC617, DC618 and DC619).
Powered by a DEWALT-built, high-performance engine, the Dewalt
nailers deliver the speed, power and run-time required for
professional applications. Sequential-firing-mode models for
precision nail placement are available as well as bump-firing-mode
models (> 3 nails/sec.) for applications requiring production
speed. A six-position depth adjustment wheel allows for quick,
easy nail penetration settings. A contact trip lock-off feature
prevents accidental discharge when engaged. Tool-free clearance
allows for easy removal of jammed nails.
The 12V battery pack (DC9071), allows users to drive approximately
300 nails per charge; 500 with the 14.4V pack (DC9091); and
800 with the18V pack (DC9096). The high-capacity XRP batteries
provide 40% more run-time than standard batteries, longer
life and an extended service contract. The 12/14.4V finish
nailer models accommodate up to 110 nails; the 18V models,
120 nails.
An impact-resistant metal top cap increases durability and
facilitates access for service. Integrated work-surface headlights,
featuring long-lasting LEDs, provide visibility in low-light
conditions.
Accessories for the finish nailers are sold separately and
include straight and angled nails in boxes of 2,500 and packs
of 1,000, driver/return assemblies and return cord assemblies.
Combining DEWALT's quality, engineering, design and performance,
the XRP line also includes drill/drivers, a 6-1/4" circular
saw and a reciprocating saw. The DEWALT 18V cordless system
is the most complete in the industry, with more than 23 tools
using a single battery platform. Included are drills, impact
wrenches/drivers, nailers, saws, lasers and other innovative
