DEWALT has relaunched their worksite Dewalt radio
charger, which is now up to 78% louder and offers
up to 65% better reception than its original DW911 model.
The new Dewalt DC011 Worksite Radio Charger functions as
both a one-hour battery charger and a high-quality radio tough
enough to withstand the worksite environment. For versatility,
the DC011 radio charger plugs into an AC outlet and can recharge
any DEWALT 7.2 to 18-volt battery pack (excluding Univolt®)
in one hour, even while the radio is playing. It also works
as a cordless radio powered by any DEWALT 9.6 to 18-volt battery
(again excluding Univolt®).
The new AM/FM stereo is loud enough to be heard over the
high noise levels of a typical worksite. Designed by subwoofer
experts, the high-efficiency speakers feature two bass ports
for maximum bass response. The DC011 features an on-board,
heavy-duty storage case to hold a CD player plus multiple
discs (not included). The DC011 is more durable, with a protective
shock-mounted roll cage, steel speaker grills, weather-resistant
controls and speakers, recessed shatterproof liquid crystal
display (LCD) and an all metal 11? pivoting antenna.
For better reception, the Dewalt DC011 charger features a
digital tuner with a longer antenna than the original DW911
radio charger. The digital tuner has fast-seeking capability
that tunes in to stations automatically. The LCD window shows
the exact station while pre-set memory buttons allow users
to program their favorite stations for quick access. For durability,
the LCD window is recessed to withstand impact on the jobsite.
For efficient battery charging, the DC011 radio charger uses
DEWALT's three-stage charging system, which provides maximum
run-time and extends the overall life of the battery with
no memory effect.
