DEWALT’s new D21000 series of heavy-duty corded 3/8”
electric drills have a more powerful 6-amp
motor that produces 2,500 RPM and 110 in/lbs. of torque, the
highest torque rating in its class.
Designed as a workhorse drill for woodworkers and professional
tradespeople, the D21000 electric drill series replaces the
company’s previous DW100 and DW106 models.
The DEWALT D21000 drill series consists of three models and
includes a new line-up of heavy-duty chucks. The chuck on
the D21008K Dewalt electric powered drill enhances gripping
power with a ratcheting lock. This two-sleeve design allows
users to tighten down on bits with up to 15% additional force.
Serrated jaws provide a better grip on the bit to prevent
slippage, while the internal locking mechanism prevents the
chuck sleeve from opening during use.
The Dewalt D21009 drill model features an all-metal keyless
chuck with serrated jaws and internal locking mechanism to
withstand harsh metal drilling and fastening applications.
The electric D21002 drill model comes with an all-metal keyed
chuck for those who prefer to tighten down on the bit using
a key. In addition to more power and a new chuck design, the
D21000 series features best-in-class ergonomics, with an ideal
combination of weight, balance, comfort and power. A built-in
two-way level and belt hook add convenience.
Designed for durability, these electri hand drills are built
with a glass-filled nylon housing and all ball-bearing construction
to ensure long, dependable tool life.
